Eugene Fritz, Sr.

Mr. Eugene "Gene" Fritz, Sr, of Urbana, passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at his residence. He was the loving husband of Cheryl Fritz for 51 years.

Born September 5, 1951 in Frederick.

Gene worked at LaFarge Quarry for over 40 years. He was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan. He was extremely handy and could fix almost anything. Gene loved the outdoors and tended to his garden, lawn, and fish pond.

In addition to his wife, Gene is survived by his son; EJ Fritz (Roxanne), granddaughter; Raine Fritz, grandson; Robert Rippeon, brother; Larry Fritz (Karen) and sister; Debbie Middleton.

The funeral service will be private.
