Emily Ruthvin

Mrs. Emily Jane Plunkard Ruthvin, age 85, of Frederick passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Frederick Health. She was the wife of the late Robert L. Ruthvin who passed away on October 29, 2013.

Born December 1, 1937 in Frederick County, was the daughter of E. Herbert and Della May (Lawson) Plunkard. She graduated from Frederick High School Class of 1956. She worked many years at Aerojet and 25 years at FCPS Food Service. She enjoyed taking walks with her dogs, going to yard sales and spending time with her grandkids.

Mrs. Ruthvin was the mother of Kimberly Dinterman, husband Mike and grandmother of Jennifer and Shawn. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Herbert "Bo" Franklin Plunkard.

The family would like to thank Frederick Hospice for their care and wonderful neighbors for their love and support.

The funeral service will be private.
