Edward L. Cramer, Jr.

Mr.  Edward L. Cramer, Jr. 78, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2024.  He was the loving husband of the late Barbara A. (Boone) Cramer.

Born June 9, 1946 in Frederick, he was the son of the late Edward and Kathleen (Murphy) Cramer.

Edward proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.  He worked for Lehigh Cement Company for 41 years.  He was a member of the American Legion Post #282.  In his spare time, he was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He is survived by his sister, Carol Benton, sister-in-law, Judy Cramer, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

The family will receive friends from 4pm to 7pm, on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick, MD 21701.  The funeral service will be held at 11:00AM, on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at the funeral home.  Pastor Aaron Clark will officiate.  Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
