Edgar Eugene Crutchley jr , 64, passed away peacefully in his home on August 3, 2024.
He grew up in walkersville Maryland where he continued to spend most of his time doing what he loved most; spending time with his family and grandpuppy.
He graduated from Walkersville High School in 1977 and from there worked as a master in many crafts including his custom hardwood flooring business and custom pistol grip business before settling into the job he really thrived in; being a dad.
He was a simple man who enjoyed his routine and his family and animals. He fed the random wildlife of his neighborhood every day until he passed. He enjoyed his natural light, spending time with his grandson and grand puppy, sudoku, and ending the night with a good dessert.
He is survived by his son, Cody Crutchley and daughter, Caitlin Crutchley and fiancé Steven Thompson as well as grandson Landon Eichelmann. He is also survived by his sister, Tammy Haller, aunt, Nan Pue, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Cornelia Crutchley, father, Edgar Crutchley Sr., grandmother, Olga Pue, and several family pets that he would be thrilled to be reunited with in heaven.
A celebration of life will be held at a private family residence on Saturday August 10th. Any one that wishes to come share stories, honor his life, laugh, or drink a natural light in his honor feel free to reach out to any one in the family for more information.
In lieu of flowers, the family would ask you to donate to any animal charity of your choosing as that would make him happiest.
