Earl Fulton Sears (Buddy, Big Bubba), 86, of Adamstown, MD, passed away at home on April 13, 2025. He was the son of the late Fulton Duvall and Dorothy Perry (Plunkard) Sears.
He loved his Chevys and talking about cars and was a great mechanic. He was a regular at the 75 and 80 Dragway in the 60s and 70s, racing his Willys and winning many trophies.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Faith (Sissy) Virginia Sears. Earl is survived by siblings Brenda Main (Earl) of Little River, SC, Sylvia Sears of Frederick, and Jerry Sears (Susan) of Sabillasville. Also surviving are nephews Eric Sears of Sharpsburg and Aaron Sears (Lindsey) of Hagerstown and great nephews Miles and Russell Sears.
There will be no viewing, and a private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
