Doris M. Crone

Mrs. Doris M. Crone, 94, of Frederick, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at Homewood at Crumland Farms.  She was the wife of the late Edward Crone, who preceded her in death in 1997.

Born August 26, 1929 in Charles Town, WV, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Elvie (Nicewarner) Strailman.

Mrs. Crone is survived by her children; Charles Crone, Thomas Crone and wife Kris and Donald Crone and wife Regina; grandchildren; Charles Crone Jr., Michael Crone, Heather Johnson, Amanda Keilholtz, Catherine Nelson, Adam Crone, Tim Clark and Aaron Crone; 14 great-grandchildren.  She will also be missed by her four-legged friends; Ginger and Stella.

The family will receive friends from 9AM to 11:00AM on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 5463 Jefferson Pike, Frederick.  The funeral service will follow at 11:00AM.  Interment will follow at St. Luke's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Doris' name to St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 5463 Jefferson Pike, Frederick.
