Doreen V. Heffner

　Doreen Virginia Heffner, 91, of Littlestown, PA formerly of Frederick, MD passed away Saturday, January 26, 2019. Born in Woodsboro, MD on June 18, 1927. She was the oldest of 12 children born to Austin Arthur and Mary Fogle (nee Devilbiss). She was the beloved wife of 34 years to the late William Henry Heffner, Jr. Doreen worked at F.W. Woolworth for 38 years until the company closed. She enjoyed travel to Dollywood and to see NASCAR races. Doreen was also a member of Emmanuel Trinity Lutheran Church. She is survived by; her children Virginia Lee Bitler and husband Charles, William Henry Heffner III and companion Betty Wilson, and Doreen Virginia, grandchildren; William Henry Heffner IV and Lori Michelle Pappas, great-grandchildren Charlotte Marie Heffner, Blake Michael Bitler, and Holden Craig Pappas. Family and Friends can gather at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick, MD 21701, on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 from 10 am until the start of the funeral service at 11 am.
