Donald Young Leaf, Jr.

Donald Young Leaf, Jr., 56, of Frederick, Maryland, passed away on Monday August 12, 2024 at Frederick Health and Rehabilitation. Born in Frederick on July 29, 1968 to the late Donald Leaf, Sr. and Darlene Leaf. He was the beloved husband to Nina Burdette.

Donald worked at the Frederick Brick Works (Work Family) for over 30 years. He enjoyed fishing and working on computers in his free time.

In addition to his wife, Nina, he is survived by; his children Tiffany and Trisha, his grandchildren Kayleigh, Alexa, and Addison, all of West Virginia, his sister Kathy Leaf of Mt. Airy, his uncle Bill Bowers of Mt. Airy, and his in-laws Howard, Sadie Russell of West Virginia, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Linda Leaf.

Family and friends can gather at Keeney and Basford Funeral Homes, P.A., 106 East Church Street, Frederick, MD 21701, on Monday August 19, 2024 from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday August 20, 2024 at 11am. Interment will be held privately.
