Diane M. Brust Bowles

Mrs. Diane M. Brust Bowles, 70, of Conway, SC, formerly of Frederick, passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2024.  She was the loving wife to late Charles Brust Sr. (2003) and Fred Bowles (2024).

Born July 16, 1954, in Frederick, she was the daughter of the late Jim White and Margaret Eichelberger.

Diane was a graduate of Governor Thomas Johnson High School. She spent many years employed by FCPS, The Scott Key Center and Sinai Hospital. Most recently she served as a health care volunteer in Conway, SC and enjoyed selling Mary Kay.

In her younger years Diane was an avid 10 Pin Bowler. She was on several bowling teams and travelled the North East in numerous tournaments.

She was an active member of the Surfside Moose Lodge where she and Fred would enjoy evenings out doing karaoke with their friends. Diane enjoyed fishing, time spent at the beach and especially time spent with her dogs, Pebbles, Gidget and Miss Maggie.

She is survived by her daughter, Tessia Brust, son, Charles Brust Jr., Mason Canuhe and wife Melanie, Madeline Canuhe, Tatum Brust, Sophie Brust and Cameron Brust, siblings, Barbara Pierce, Sheridy Schroyer, Edie Whittington, Bill Eichelberger, Nancy Eichelberger and Robert Eichelberger, numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 4m to 7pm, on Friday, November 15, 2024 at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick.  The funeral service will be held at 10am, on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at the funeral home.  Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Diane's name to the  Wounded Warrior Project or Humane Society of the United States .
