Mr. David B. Tinney, 57, of Frederick, died Tuesday, December 6, 2022.

Born August 6, 1965 in Frederick, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Mary Jane (Shoemaker) Tinney.

He worked for Country Inn & Suites, previously Holiday Inn Express, as a maintenance Supervisor for 35 years. David could fix anything. David loved the outdoors, he was an avid fisherman, hunter and camper. Most importantly, he loved to spend time with his daughter and grandchildren.

He is survived by his daughter; Diane Tinney, grandchildren; Isaiah Ellis and Tamara Ellis, special friend; Darrin Baker (Linda Arrington) and his dog; Dakota.

He was preceded in death by Anna Mae Emmons and husband Harold; special friends Joe Summers and Jeannie Beachley; his dog Daisy.

The family will receive friends from 10am to 11am, on Monday, December 12, 2022 at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick. The funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00AM. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
