Connie June Hurst

Connie June (Mohler) Hurst, 78, gained her heavenly wings on Monday, January 23, 2023.

She passed away at her home in Washington County, MD where she was cared for by her great-niece, Heather Mohler-Burke and husband Jason Burke. She was love by family and friends.

Connie June (Mohler) Hurst was born on June 16, 1944 to the late Boyd Watson Mohler and Mary Catherine Mohler of Point of Rocks, MD.

In her earlier years, she loved to go dancing and listening to live music, taking care of her dogs and going to yard sales. Se especially loved working at Goodwill with the disabled crew. She loved spending time with family and caring for the ones she loved.

Connie is survived by her children, son Thomas Hurst of Frederick, MD, son Thomas Mohler and wife Patricia of Thurmont, MD, daughter Brenda Macintosh and husband Greg of Frederick, MD and daughter Linda Mohler of Frederick, MD. Additionally, she is survived by her sister Patsy Burkhead of Stockton, MD. She has one granddaughter Tiffany Hurst Conrad who she thought the world of. She also had a grandson Aaron Mohler who she bragged about quite frequently whom she loved and adored. She has one great Granddaughter Paisley Conrad whom she adored dearly. She has one great Granddaughter Paisley Conrad whom she adored dearly. She has many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and will be missed deeply by all.

She is preceded in death by her late husband Bert Hurst of Frederick, MD, sister Audrey (Mohler) Smith of Frederick, MD, sister Kaye Frances (Mohler) Wenner of Washington County, MD, brother James Mohler of Eastern Shore, MD and son Ernest (Ernie) Mohler of Cumberland, MD.

Family will receive friends at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Homes, P.A., 106 E. Church Street, Frederick, MD on Monday, January 30, 2023 from 12 - 1 PM at which time the funeral service will be held. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
