Clyde "Andy" Andrews

Mr. Clyde Fenton “Andy” Andrews, 88, of Frederick, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Janey Wheat Andrews for 67 years. He was born on July 23, 1931 in Hyattstown, MD the son of the late John Thomas and Ruth Naomi Andrews.

Clyde was a Barber for over 50 years, owning locations in Potomac and Bethesda. He had a very strong work ethic and was known by many as a hard worker. He was devoted to his family, and loved spending time with them. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children John Andrews, Sr. (Virginia), Thomas Andrews  (Diane), Debra Jandovitz (Tom), Lisa Cohagan (David),  grandchildren, Michael Andrews (Jenn), Shannon Gregory (Mark), Ryan Andrews (Amira), John Andrews, Jr. (Ariana), Danielle Heyman (Eric), Chad Andrews (Alaina), Chasten White, Taylor Cohagan, Kendall Cohagan, 11 great-grandchildren, siblings Perry Andrews and George Andrews and numerous other family members, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by siblings, Helen Draper and Joseph Andrews and nephew, Ron Draper. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Frederick Health Hospice and Visiting Angels, especially Bob LeBron and Daniel Mantilla.

The family will receive friends from 4-7pm on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 703 W. Patrick Street, Frederick. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at the church. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in his name to Frederick Health Hospice, P.O. Box 1799, Frederick, MD, 21702 or to Trinity United Methodist Church, 703 W.
