Christie Lynn Buchman

   Mrs. Christie Lynn Buchman, 54 of Frederick, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2019 at Frederick Health. She was the loving wife of George W. Buchman III. Born in Silver Spring on February 8, 1965, she was a daughter of the late William and Joan Bennett Harvey.  Christie had worked for H & R Block in tax preparations and was a homemaker who loved cooking, reading and she enjoyed hiking and kayaking.    Surviving in addition to her husband are her two loving children; George W. Buchman IV and wife Jenna of Salisbury and Amy M. Nearhoof and husband Chris, of Frederick, and her grandson, Zachary, one sister, Julie Peterson and husband Daryn of Palm Coast, FL and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Scott Harvey.   The family will receive friends from 3 to 7 p.m., on Monday, November 25, 2019 at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick.  A celebration of her life will be held ay 11 a.m., on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at the Evangelical Lutheran Church, 31 East Church Street, Frederick. Interment will be private.   In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Zaching Against Cancer and or Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center, Johns Hopkins Hospital.
