Charlotte Helen Fritz

Mrs. Charlotte Helen Fritz 93 of Clear Spring Md. passed at the Meritus Medical Center on Monday June 12, 2023.

Born in Middletown Md July 24, 1929 she was the daughter of the late Earl and Olive (Young) Routzahn and the beloved wife to the late Paige Remsburg Fritz.

Charlotte was employed with her husband at the Snow White Grill in Frederick Md. by the owner and close family friend Mrs. Nellie Hurst. She retired after many years of service as waitress and manager.

Charlotte enjoyed taking bus trips and traveling with her friend and sister in law Mrs. Charlotte Lee. She will most be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by; her children Tana M Hargett, Wayne M Fritz (Sharon), Judy A. Baldwin (Robert), Vincent D Fritz and Christy L Hemshrodt ( Daniel), her siblings June Routzahn and Rosalee Burrier. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her children Carolyn Kroh, and Robert P Fritz and her siblings Stanley C Routzahn, Earl Glenn Routzahn, Miriam Main, Gloria Travis, Katheryn Routzahn and Kathleen Routzahn.

Family and friends can gather at the Keeney Basford Funeral Home 106 East Church St. Frederick Md. 21701 on June 21, 2023. Immediate family 9am , friends and family 10am funeral service 11am. Interment to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetary.
