Butch Baugher

Mr. Henry Lee "Butch" Baugher, Jr., 75, of Buckeystown, passed away Monday, February 26, 2024 peacefully at his residence.  He was the loving husband to Patricia Baugher for 53 years.

Born May 29, 1948, he was son of the late Henry and Violet (Shores) Baugher.

Butch graduated from Frederick High School Class of 1966. He served in the US Army as a medic in the 82nd Airborne during the Vietnam War. He worked for WF Wilson & Sons for 44 years until his retirement.  In his spare time, Butch loved to hunt, fish and coach baseball.  He was a lifelong member of the Monocacy Valley Memorial VFW Post 6918.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son; Tom Baugher and wife Valerie Clemons, grandchildren; Randy Baugher and wife Kelsey and Kristin Hagan and husband Brandon, Step-grandchildren; Matt Clemons and Brittany Snedager, great-grandchildren; Bryson Baugher and Bristol Baugher, sisters; Susie Ramsberg and husband Junior and Linda Ayler, brother; Danny Baugher and wife Melanie, sister-in-law; Brenda Baugher, special great-nieces; Hannah Bartlett and Chloe Bartlett, numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death  by his brother; Wayne Baugher and brother-in-law; Lewis Ayler.

The family will receive friends from 1pm from 4pm, on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick.  The funeral service will be held at 11:00AM, on Monday, March 4, 2024 at the funeral home.  Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
