Bonnie Virts

Mrs. Bonnie Lee Virts, 74, of Frederick passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022. She was the loving wife of Franklin Virts for 50 years.

Born January 21, 1948 in Frederick, she was the daughter of the late William Lininger Sr. and Louise Lininger Duvall.

Bonnie was a long time employee of Rotorex of Walkersville. She was an avid Baltimore Ravens fan and everything Elvis.

In addition to her husband; she is survived by her children; Dawn Virts Hahn and husband Mike and Michael Virts, grandchildren; Timothy Ford, Brandon Hahn and fiance Natalie Disque and Michaela Hahn, great-granddaughter; Holley (due in January); brother; Wayne Lininger, sisters; Patsy Hoffman, Brenda Brashears and Pam Weddle, numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brother; William Lininger Jr., sisters; Sharon Huff and Vickie Duvall and sister-in-law; JoAnn Lininger.

The family will receive friends from 4pm to 7pm, on Monday, October 17, 2022 at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick. The funeral service will be held at 10:00AM, on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 in the Etchison Memorial Chapel at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
