Beverly Mae Ingram

Beverly Mae Ingram, 80, went to eternal rest Friday, December 29th. She and her late husband, James Ingram Jr., were married for 51 years. Beverly was born and raised in Burkittsville, Maryland. She was the daughter of Cletus and Elsie Jones.

She was a 1960 graduate of Frederick High School. She worked for the US atomic energy commission in Germantown and Bethesda, Maryland from 1960 to 1970.

Beverly and her daughter, Kim Murray, owned and operated Ingrams Diner from 1986 to 2016. Many customers called her Bev or mom. Most just call her nan, as well as all the staff. She loved to play cards and taught all of her grandchildren how to play.

She was preceeded in death by her daughter, Kim Murray, April 15th, 2023. Also by sister Laurena Reed in 2012.

She is survived by her daughter, Jamie Baker and fiance Mike Ferrell.

Beverly has six grandchildren: Jessica Brodnax and boyfriend Ricky Hopkins, Aaron and Alyssa Pettitt, Heather Pettitt and boyfriend Trey Myers, Robert Baker lll and girlfriend Shelby Hahn, Jenna and Thomas Wiles and Megan Murray and boyfriend Trinity.

Also 5 great grandchildren: Tandra Brodnax, Jayla Young, Zander and Dakota Brodnax, and Jahzara Wiles.

Along with many close family that was added along the way including Glen Gordon, and Chloe and Cody Carroll with their children, Bella, Wes, Eli and Willow.

Funeral services will be held at Keeney and Basford funeral home on Thursday Jan 4th at 11am. Family will be receiving friends between 10 and 11am. Private family interment at Jefferson Lutheran Cemetary.
