Barbara Anne Morningstar

Mrs. Barbara Anne (Peters) Morningstar, 88, of Frederick died Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at Citizens Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late John Morningstar, who preceded her in death in 2018.

Born April 12, 1936 in Chambersburg, PA, she is the daughter of the late Robert and Anne (Alther) Peters.

Barbara is survived by her children; Kym Brown and husband Mark, Karen Machikas and husband Michael, Karla Trythall and husband Jim and Brian Densel and wife Eileen, grandchildren; Rebecca Brown, Taylor Willard, Alexander Machikas, Constantine Machikas, Michael Trythall, Emily Lee, Luke Trythall, Zachary Densel, Ashley Densel and Samantha Densel, 10 great-grandchildren, sister, Mary Rizzuto, numerous nieces and nephews.

The memorial service will be held on Monday, May 20th at 10:00 am, at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick. Inurnment will follow at Mt. Olivet Mausoleum.
