Alice Frances Boyer

Alice Frances Grove Boyer, 88, of Frederick, peacefully entered eternal life on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at Citizens Nursing Home. Alice was born on January 25, 1935 to the late John Arthur and Emily Gertrude Barthlow Grove. She was married 42 years to the late Charles Hart Boyer who preceded her in death on May 6, 2000. Alice was also preceded in death by her two sisters; Susan Virginia Mitts and Joy Ann Gouker She was a homemaker and provided care for many children over the years as an in-home child care provider. Alice loved children and her family. She hosted many gatherings and meals in her home for family and friends. She also enjoyed dancing and singing. Alice is survived and remembered by her companion and best friend of 22 years; Bernard L. Wiles, Sr, her three nieces; Emily Gertrude Nelson and companion Jaro Benes, June Colleen Zimmerman and husband Bill, Barbara Ann Marshall and husband Bob, great nephews; Scott Rice and wife Yvonne, Chuck Rice, one great niece; Emily Selby and husband Scott, her great great nephews, Brandon Davis, Shaun Davis, Lucas Davis, Zachary Wright, Noah Rice, Nathan Rice, Logan Rice, her great great niece; Brooklynn Rice. She will also be remembered by the children of Bernard L. Wiles, Sr, Graham Wiles and his wife Tracy, Buddy Wiles, Jody Wiles, Dianna Shorb, Brenda Braucher and husband Dan, Beth Wiles. The family will welcome friends at Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick, MD 21701 on Tuesday October 31, 2023 from 9:00am to 11:00am with funeral services immediately following visitation at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Frederick.
