Mrs. Elizabeth Summers "Aunt B" Adams, 92, of Buckeystown died on Wednesday, November 30, 2011, at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Clyde E. Adams. They were married on March 1, 1947. She was born in Frederick, on October 20, 1919, she was a daughter of the late J. Thomas and Emma Jane French Summers. Mrs. Adams was retired as a secretary for the director of Social Services in Frederick County. She was a life member of the Centennial Memorial United Methodist Church. Surviving her in addition to her husband is one daughter, Cynthia A. Fulk and husband Randy, of Buckeystown, one sister, Evelyn G. Dawson, of Cumberland, and many nieces and nephews. She will also be remembered by her long time friend, Rowena Hildebrand, of Buckeystown and special friend, Debra Graham Rippeon, of Braddock Heights. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret Putman and Jane Rebecca Sherald. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m., on Friday, December 2, 2011, at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., on Saturday, December 3, 2011, in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the funeral home. The Rev. Helen Smith, pastor of Centennial Memorial United Methodist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in the Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Centennial memorial United Methodist Church, 8 West Second Street, Frederick, MD 21701.
