Lucille R. Anderson

Mrs. Lucille Rita Anderson, 85, of Frederick, died on Wednesday, December 8, 2010, at the Washington County Hospital, Hagerstown. Twice married she was the wife of the late Murray B. Champion and the late Richard S. Anderson. Born on December 13, 1924, in New Rockford, North Dakota, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Katherine Reis. Lucille worked for many years in the banking business and retired as a vice-president. Surviving are her three chidren, Don Champion of Frederick, Kathy Champion of Frederick and Sheryl Whalen, of Woodbridge, Virginia, one brother, Paul Reis of New Rockford, ND and one sister, Wynona Lewis of Spokane, WA, eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. Memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m., on Sunday, December 12, 2010, in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the Keeney and Basford PA Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. Deacon John L. Manley, will officiate. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital at stjude.org.
