Anna Lee Bauer

Mrs. Anna Lee Mary Bauer, 82, of Frederick, died Monday, October 24, 2011. She was the wife of the late Joseph H. Bauer.

She was born on June 18, 1929, in Kankakee, IL and was the daughter of the late Rene and Leonille (Nourie) Kempen.

Mrs. Bauer is survived by sons, Robert L. Sonnenberg and wife Kathy, Steven B. Sonnenberg and wife Dana and Jeffery L. Sonnenberg and wife Gail, step-son, William Bauer and wife Judy, brother, Rene Kempen and wife Esther, sister, Caroline Sink and husband Jack, grandchildren, Megan M. Sonnenberg, Jamie L. Sonnenberg and Ryan R. Sonnenberg, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 pm on Sunday, October 30, 2011 at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St, Frederick. The funeral mass will be at 10:00 am on Monday, October 31, 2011 at St. Joseph's on Carrollton Manor, 5843 Manor Woods Road, Frederick, MD 21703 . Father Lawrence K. Frazier will officiate. Interment will be private.
