Anna Mildred Bennett

Mrs. Anna Mildred Bennett, age 91 went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late John W. Bennett who passed away on January 18, 2007. Born on August 8, 1920 in Little Washington, VA, she was the daughter of the late Millard Jones and Goldie Dodson.

Mrs. Bennett loved her family dearly. She made an impact on everyone that knew her. She enjoyed cooking and gardening more before her illness. She especially enjoyed taking care of her dog "Coco."

She is survived by one daughter Judy Bowers and Fianc Gary Wheeldon of Frederick and sons Bob W. Bennet of Frederick and Edward Pullen and wife Joyce of VA; one brother Charles Dodson and wife Sara of Fairplay, MD, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, several great great grand children and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her two sisters and two sons.

Friends will be received on Friday, November 18, 2011 from 3 to 5 and from 7 to 9 PM at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick where services will be held in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the funeral home on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 1 PM. Rev. Carol Kaiser will officiate.
