Wendy Elizabeth Campbell

Ms. Wendy Elizabeth Campbell, 44 years of age died on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at Lorien Nursing Home in Mt. Airy, MD. She was born July 9, 1966 in Denver, CO, she was the daughter of William and Marjorie Graff Campbell of Frederick, MD. Wendy obtained an associates degree in business from Montgomery College and graduated from Shepherd University with a B.S. in accounting. Prior to her illness she had lived in Gaithersburg and worked in the accounting department at V.O.B. in Rockville, MD In addition to her parents, she is survived by brother Bruce Campbell and his wife Margie and their daughters Ashley and Bryanna of Loveland, CO. Her Aunts and Uncles include John Graff and his wife Karen of Beaver Falls, PA, Lou Ann Campbell Webber of Hollidaysburg, PA and Maureen Graff of Pittsboro, NC Wendy's close friends include Quinnetta Frazier her long time aide and friend, Jane and Roy Simmons, deacons at the Olney Church of Christ, her cousins Les and The Rev. Carol Campbell of Middlebury Center, PA, Carolyn and Paul Warnken, Chaplains at Lorien Health Care Center, and the staff of Lorien Health Care Center, where Wendy had resided for the past two years. Prior to becoming disabled Wendy had enjoyed swimming, singing in the church choir, and doing needlework. Once she became disabled she liked to work on her adaptive computer and get and write e-mails. She fully deserved her e-mail address of "smilesalot." She also enjoyed riding in her electric wheelchair, Playing cards and games and working with her father on puzzles. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at 12 Noon in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick.
