Robert Wayne Cannon

Mr. Robert Wayne Cannon, 60, of Montgomery Village and formerly of Frederick, died Monday, May 24, 2010. Born June 16, 1949, in Frederick, he was the son of Annabelle Fulmer Cannon of Frederick and the late Robert Edward Cannon. Mr. Cannon was a 1967 graduate of Frederick High School. He was a resident of Frederick until moving to Montgomery County in 1980. He was the office manager of Potomac Video. In addition to his mother, he is survived by an aunt, Viola Golden of Hancock; and many cousins. Mr. Cannon was predeceased by his brother, John William Cannon, who died June 16, 2008; and his longtime companion, Eugene Hykes, formerly of Greencastle, Pa., who died Jan. 28, 1992. Robert and Eugene spent 12 wonderful years together. Memorial services for Mr. Cannon will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 29, at Keeney and Basford, P.A., Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick. Inurnment will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
