Anna Lee Clary

Mrs. Anna Lee Clary, 73, of Frederick, died Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Jack Bernard Clary, who died in 1975.

Born April 2, 1937 in Frederick, she was the daughter of the late Mildred Harris, and step-daughter of the late John Calvin Main.

Mrs. Clary attended Frederick City Schools. She worked at the Sheraton Hotel in Frederick for 12 years as supervisor of the Housekeeping Department. Following that, she worked at the Animal Care Department at Fort Detrick for seven years before retiring.

She lived with her daughter Dana for the last 15 years.

Mrs. Clary is survived by her children, Dana Tyeryar and husband, Benjamin; Dianna Kruger and husband, William; and Jack Clary, Jr. and friend, Cathy Grove; seven grandchildren, Crystal Tyeryar and friend, Tim Thompson; Benjamin Tyeryar, III, and wife, Brooke; Jamie Ensor and husband, Josh; Sabrina Kruger, and friend, Aaron Diggs; Amanda Kruger; William Edward Kruger, III, and wife, Stephanie; and Dennis Clary.

Additionally, she is survived by eight great-grandchildren, Gabrielle, Alex and Brayden Tyeryar; Rileigh Ensor; Bryana, Amya and Caden Diggs; and Deyona Daniels. She also will be remembered by her special friends, Orean Jackson and June Wiles,

In addition to her husband, mother, and step-father, Mrs. Clary was preceded in death by her daughter, Virginia Clary.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 17 at Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick. Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 18 from the funeral home chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. James S. Flora.

Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
