Frances A. Cover

Mrs. Frances A. Cover, 87, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2010, at Washington County Hospital. She was the wife of the late Frank C. Cover Jr. and the daughter of the late Roy and Mary Shewbridge. A longtime resident of Brunswick, Mrs. Cover resided in Washington County with her special granddaughter, Jacqueline Ellis and her husband, Chris, and their children, Helena and Kristen. Prior to that, Mrs. Cover lived with her daughter, Sue Ann Yingling, and her family near Rosemont for 15 years. Mrs. Cover was a member of First United Methodist Church in Brunswick and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by her son, Frank C. Cover III of Feagaville; her daughter, Sue Ann Yingling and husband, William, of Leonardtown; six grandchildren, Jacqueline Ellis, David Yingling, F. Clinton Cover IV, Michael Cover, Virginia Cover Glidewell and Curtis Cover; and many great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a brother, James C. Shewbridge; and a grandson, W. Allen Yingling Jr. A graveside service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 23, at Mount Olivet Cemetery. The Rev. Timothy S. May Sr. will officiate. Those wishing to attend should assemble by 10:15 a.m. near the FSK Chapel at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to FCC Foundation, William Allen Yingling Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund, 7932 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702.
