Wendy Brown Craft of Frederick, MD passed away peacefully at home on January 14, 2011 at the age of 50 after a nearly five year long battle with Triple Negative Breast Cancer.
She was born April 18, 1960 in Toronto, Ohio and is a 1978 graduate of Toronto High School and a member of Brook Hill United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Dan; her beautiful daughter, Madeline Belle; her brother, Barry and his wife, Linda; her brother, Kyle, and his wife, Sheila; eight nieces and nephews; and seven great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy, and his wife, Sharon; her mother, Lois; and her father, Jim.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 20 at Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 10 a.m. on Friday, January 21 at Brook Hill United Methodist Church, 8946 Indian Springs Road, Frederick, MD 21702. Officiating will be the Rev. Linda Warehime and the Rev. Dr. Ken Walker. A reception will follow at the church after interment at Brook Hill Cemetery.
