Richard Allen Dixon

Mr. Richard Allen Dixon, 56, of Frederick, died Sunday, Aug. 1, 2010, at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Lisa Dixon. Born Feb. 18, 1954, in Frederick, he was the son of the late Franklin E. Sr. and Mary Virginia Hahn Dixon. Mr. Dixon was a bricklayer and a handyman. He also enjoyed listening to music and dancing. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1067, Frederick, and the Redmen Chippewa Tribe 19. In addition to his wife, he is survived by children, Tia, Keisha, Michael, Meagan and Amanda; grandchildren, Tiannah, Dustin, Donovin, Reggie and Keyshawn; a sister, Betty L. Kinkaid of Jackson, Tenn.; and brothers, Thomas E. Dixon of Frederick, and Raymond A. Dixon of Jackson. He also will be remembered by a special aunt, Doris "Doody" Ahalt; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Leroy Douglas Dixon and Franklin E. "Butch" Dixon Jr. A memorial service for Mr. Dixon will begin at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 6, at Keeney and Basford, P.A., Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick. The Rev. Katrina L.
