Connie Drury

Mrs. Constance Elaine "Connie" Drury, 65, of Frederick, died on Monday, September 26, 2011, at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the loving wife of Austin F. Drury.

Born in Frederick on February 11, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Alvie Edward and Geraldine Jane Stitely Shelton.

Connie was a graduate of Frederick High School Class of 1964. She had worked for 18 years at Airpax in Frederick and was a member of the Flint Hill United Methodist Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Timothy Wayne Shelton and wife Kimberly, of Frederick, and Michael Todd Drury and wife Valarie, of MIddletown, one sister, Phyllis Fouche and husband Robert, of Frederick, one brother, Joseph Shelton and wife Linda, of Berlin, a half brother, Alvie E. Shelton, Jr., and wife Jane, of Walkersville, three grandchildren, Todd Michael Drury and wife Kelly, Jessica A. Shelton and Kurstin Drury, one great grandson, Aiden Drury, and many nieces and nephews. She will also be remembered by special friends, Ann and Roger Grossnickle, of Frederick.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m., on Thursday, September 29, 2011, at the Francis Scott Key Chapel in the Mount Olivet Cemetery, 515 South Market Street, Frederick. Where funeral services will begin at 4:00 p.m. The Rev. Tim May, will officiate. Interment will be at a later date.

Arrangements are with the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick.
