Robert William Feeser

Robert William "Bob" Feeser, 95 ,of Buckingham's Choice. Adamstown, Md, passed away on Friday, July 1, 2011. He was the husband of Mary Ellen Feeser, his wife of 73 years. Born May 15, 1916 in Taneytown, he was the son of the late Mervin and Nellie Harner Feeser. Bob was a 32nd degree mason for years and was a charter member and past President of the Taneytown Lions Club, serving two terms. He was also honored as a "Melvin Jones Fellow". Bob also served as secretary for both the Taneytown Chamber of Commerce and Taneytown Fire Company for many years. Bob and his wife Mary Ellen owned and operated The Rob-Ellen Shops in Frederick, Columbia and Taneytown, Md and Hanover, Pa for 35 years. Surviving besides his wife, is one son, S. Gregory Feeser of Frederick, one granddaughter, Wendy Jakszta and husband John of Dallas, Tx., two great grandchildren, Lindsay and Ryan Jakszta of Dallas and one brother, Raymond Feeser and his wife Pat of Hanover, Pa.. He was preceded in death by one son, Larry R Feeser and daughter-in-law, Maureen Feeser. Family will receive friends from 930am until time of services at 10am on Saturday, July 9 at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church St., Frederick. Interment will be immediately following the service at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Frederick. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Hospice of Frederick County, P.O.
