Lloyd W. "Cowboy" Fink, of Frederick, died Tuesday, June 15, 2010, at Frederick Memorial Hospital following a long illness. He was the husband of Leara M. Fink. Lloyd was born on June 23, 1929, the son of the late Pearl L. (Webster) Fink and Talmage M. Fink, both originally of Frederick. Mr. Fink was a veteran of the Korean War. He was an excellent chain-link fence installer with A.B. Viers Co. and retired almost three years ago. In addition to his wife, Leara, Mr. Fink leaves a daughter, Vickie Lynn Dowling of Falling Waters, W.Va.; and two sons, Lloyd Wayne Fink of Falling Waters, W.Va., and Robert (Robbie) Eugene Fink of Smithsburg, from a previous marriage. He is also survived by two brothers, Ralph L. (Joe) Fink of Randallstown John W. Klepp of Boonsboro; and three sisters Sharon (Diane) True of Boyds, Debbie Hensley of Arizona and Patrica Poole of Texas. Also surviving him are numerous nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also preceding him in death were five brothers, Paul E. Fink, Harold Fink, Talmadge G. (Buddy) Fink, Otha R. Fink and Robert E. Fink (killed in Korea); and one sister, Shirley J. Wills. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, June 18, at Keeney and Basford, P.A., Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick, MD 21701. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 19, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. Luke's Cemetery, Feagaville.
