Helen Lee Geisler

Mrs. Helen Lee Geisler, 70, of Frederick, died on Friday, April 29, 2011, at the Genesis Rehabilitation Center, in Rockville. She was the wife of Raymond E. Geisler. Born in Baltimore on July 6, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Margaret Lucas Allen. Mrs. Geisler was a sales manager for the Sears Store and Bon-Ton Store and she was a homemaker. She was a member of the Eagles Club 1067, was of the Methodist Faith and enjoyed spending time at their summer place at River Bend. Surviving in addition to her husband her four children, Debra L. Robertson, of Hagerstown, Pamela S. Herpts and husband Barry, of Laurel, Lori L. Zeigler and husband Ike, of Frederick, and Allen R. Geisler and wife Leeann, of Monrovia, seven grandchildren, one great granddaughter, and two sisters, Mary Lou Davis, of Linthicum and Sue Holmes, of Naples Fla., and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Owen Robertson. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, May 4, 2011, from the Mausoleum Chapel in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 9501 Catoctin Highway, (Route 15) Frederick, with interment to follow in the Garden of the Cross. The family will receive friends there from 10:00 a.m., until the time of services. Pastor Debra Linton, of the Araby United Methodist Church, will officiate.
