Mary Virginia Goodsell

Mrs. Mary Virginia Goodsell, 93, Frederick, MD.passed away Sunday, July 3rd, 2011 at Vindobona Nursing Center, Braddock Heights. She was the wife of Ralph Edward Goodsell, for over 63 years. They had been married on June 27th. Born in Frederick County, Maryland on January 3, 1918, the daughter of the late Emory Samuel and Macy May (Eyler) Whipp. She was a 1935 graduate of Frederick High School. Mrs. Goodsell was an active member of Saint Luke's Lutheran Church, Feagaville and the Feagaville Food & Friends. Besides her husband, she is survived by a number of nieces and nephews. The last of her family, she was preceded in death by one brother, Merhle Whipp and one sister, Lillian Masser. Graveside services and interment will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, July 6th at St. Luke's Lutheran Cemetery, Feagaville, with her pastor, the Rev. Kenneth Gill officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
