Antonia Gost Guitart

Mrs. Antonia Gost Guitart, 86, of Frederick, died Friday, September 16, 2011 at her daughter's residence. She was the wife of Jose Caminals Muntanola for 57 years.

She was born on January 29, 1925, in Barcelona, Spain and was the daughter of the late Joaquim Gost and Francesca Guitart.

Antonia was born and raised in Barcelona, Spain until she moved to the United States in 1996. She loved to travel and visit many of the different states. In her spare time, she was an avid reader, tennis fan, accomplished cook and loved to watch American movies.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Roser Caminals-Heath and husband William Heath, nephew, Joan Ferrer and wife Maria Encarna Oliverias and niece, Ana Ferrer.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Joan Gost Guitart.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, September 25, 2011, at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick. Rev, Marshall Dunn will officiate. Interment will be private.
