Eleanor Goldsborough Hull

Mrs. Eleanor Goldsborough Hull, 91, a resident of Saint Catherine's Nursing Center for almost 6 years, went to the Lord on Saturday, October 22, 2011. Born on November 3, 1919 in Centreville, MD, she was the daughter of the late Beverly Lux and Eleanor Morris Goldsborough.

She graduated from Greensboro High School in in 1936 and Salisbury State Teachers College in 1940. She also attended the University of Maryland. Eleanor moved to Frederick County in 1940 and taught school at Libertytown Elementary and St. John's Elementary from which she retired in 1983. She was married in 1942 to John L. Hull for 54 years, who preceded her in death in June 1996. She was an avid bridge player, loved sports and reading, but especially spending time with her family. Eleanor was a member of Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Frederick.

She was the mother of three children, Carol G. Hull who preceded her in death in 1948, Ann H. Eicher and husband Russell W. Eicher of Waynesboro, PA., John T. Hull and wife Dawn G. Hull also of Waynesboro, PA. She is also survived by one grand-daughter, Ashley DeGrange and husband Mathew of Middletown, MD and one great-grand-daughter, Adalyn DeGrange as well as sisters-in-law Mary A. Hull of Baltimore, MD and Betty Crist of Frederick, MD and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Beverly Thawley, two sister-in-laws Jane H. Norford and Betty Hull, one brother-in-law Elmer Hull.

There will be no visitation, interment will be private.
