Col. C.P. "Jake" Jacobs Jr

Col. C.P. "Jake" Jacobs, Jr, 69, of New Market, died on Friday, August 12, 2011 at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore. He was the husband of the late Linda Darnell Jacobs, who preceded him in death on September 19, 2005. He was the son of the late C.P. Jacobs, Sr, former Sheriff of Frederick County, and the late Ella Virginia Abrecht Jacobs. Tenatively visitation is going to be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9pm on Tuesday, August 16th at the funeral home with funeral services at 11am on Wednesday, August 17th. Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to the Frederick County 4-H Camp Center; Christmas Cash For Kids, or the American Heart Association.
