Peggy Liller

Ms. Peggy Lou Liller, 73, of Chambersburg, PA, died Saturday, October 15, 2011. She was the former wife of the late Roger D. Liller.

She was born on January 17, 1938, in Gaithersburg, MD and was the daughter of the late James W. Sloan and Mary E. (Gregg) Cooper.

Peggy was a graduate of Gaithersburg High School and received her AA degree from Frederick Community College. She retired from the National Institute of Standards and Technology.

She was survived by her children, Wanda L. Dorsey and husband Harold of Boonsboro, Bonnie S. Aleshire and husband Roger of Chambersburg, PA, Arnold Brice Liller and wife Tammy of Thurmont, Brian W. Liller of Middleburg, Ralph W. Liller of Hollywood, MD and Roger Herbert Liller and wife Cheri of Anchorage, AK, grandchildren, Wayne Pirkle, Jr., Andrew Liller and Owen Liller, great-grandchild, Logan Drexler-Pirkle, several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm on Wednesday, October 19, 2011, at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 20, 2011 in the Etchison Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Dr. James Flora will officiate. Interment will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 515 S. Market Street, Frederick.
