Edna Jamison Marman

Mrs. Edna Jamison Marman, 95, of Frederick, died Saturday, June 12, 2010, at Glade Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Lewis B. Marman Sr., who died April 26, 1996. Born Sept. 30, 1914, in Frederick, she was the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Salome E. Zimmerman Jamison. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church. Mrs. Marman is survived by a daughter, Carol A. Smith of Hagerstown; a son, Lewis B. Marman Jr. and wife, Suzanne, of Charles Town W.Va.; and grandchildren, Valli L. Smith of Houston, Texas; Jeffrey C. Marman of Silver Spring and Allison C. Marman of Towson. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 15, at Keeney and Basford, P.A., Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick. A funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 16, from the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
