Ronald Peter Mclaughlin

Mr. Ronald P. McLaughlin, Ron, 71, of Waynesboro, PA, died on July 25, 2011 at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown. He was the husband of Nancy (Guillen) McLaughlin. Born on January 20, 1940 in Oneonta, NY, he was the son of the late John McLaughlin and Gladys (Hess) McLaughlin.

Mr. McLaughlin retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1977, and began his second career working for the Federal Government. He belonged to the American Legion and the Masonic Lodge.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by children Dudley McLaughlin and wife Tamara of CA, Mario Ross and wife Sandra of VA, Ivonne Ross and husband Fernando Valdez of Frederick and Jerry Ross and wife Jennifer of Frederick; grandchildren Brenden Taylor Ross and Anna Harrison; brothers John McLaughlin and wife Vivian and Alfred McLaughlin and wife Maria as well as sister Alicia McLaughlin. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Ricardo Guillen and wife Inge, cousin-in-law Juana Marotta and by his close friend Ernie Eulenstein and wife Carol.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 29 from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at Keeney and Basford PA Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 30 at Calvary United Methodist Church, 131 West Second Street, Frederick. Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
