Ardith Ann Newbold

Ardith Ann Newbold, age 64, of Frederick, passed away at home on Tuesday, December 14, 2010.

Ardith taught at Pacific Union College, Bridgeport University, Maryland School for the Deaf, and in the Frederick County School System for many years. She enjoyed nature and loved raising bob white quail, always having one as a pet. After retirement she enjoyed researching her family tree and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Dwight Newbold; three daughters, Soon Hee Rettig, Jamie Volpe and Sandra Ketterman; and three grandchildren.

Private services will be held at the Newbold residence.
