Florence Margaret (Wills) Nusz, age 90, of Frederick, passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at her residence. She was the loving wife for 56 years of the late Guy E. Nusz, Jr. who passed away in 1997. Born on September 26, 1920 in Hagerstown, MD she was the daughter of the late Nellie and Harvey Wills.
Mrs. Nusz was a member of the Brook Hill United Methodist Church in Yellow Springs for 59 years. She was honored at the 160th celebration of the church in August of 2010.
Mrs. Nusz is survived by her loving daughter Judy Remsberg, her grandchildren Garry L. Remsberg, Jr. and wife Amra of Alaska and Deanna L. Ridgely and husband John of Frederick, and her great-grandchildren Valerie and Natasha Remsberg and Grayson Ridgely. She is survived by her sisters Frances Federline, Delores Urey and husband Donald, Betty Chase, and Barbara Stone and husband Joe, brother James Wills and wife Christine, sister-in-law Mary Wills, and brother-in-law Edward Gibson. She is additionally survived by many nieces and nephews, particularly by her special nephew Gene Putman. She will be remembered by her long time friends Betty Burall and Thelma Poole, and Rhudel Putman and family and Debbie Kefauver and family. She is predeceased in death by siblings Nellie Lucille Gibson, Edna Myers, Julia Ridenour, Mary Dorton, Ethel Ernest, Robert Wills, John Richard Wills, Woodrow Wills, and Roger Wills.
Friends will be received at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 from 10 to 11 am followed by a memorial service to begin at 11 am. Rev. Linda A. Warehime, pastor of Brook Hill United Methodist Church will officiate. The interment will follow at Mt. Olivet cemetery, Frederick.
