Joseph Timothy O'Neill

Mr. Joseph Timothy "Ted" O'Neill, age 79 of Frederick, MD died on Tuesday, March 8, 2011. Husband of Lynn (Erickson) O'Neill. Ted was a loving husband for 52 years, a father of six and grandfather of ten to whom he dedicated his life. Ted was a tireless public servant whose heroic efforts in the infancy of the computer revolution led to the development and standardization of the electronic Hospital Computer Information Systems (HCIS), now used in hospitals worldwide today. A memorial service will be held at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick, MD 21701 on Sunday, March 13, 2011 at 12 noon. Interment private.
