Carol Ann Payne

Mrs. Carol Ann Payne, 62, of Frederick, died Sunday, December 5, 2010 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Eugene E. Payne.

Born Dec. 20, 1947 in Frederick, she was the daughter of Rosemary Hiltner Morgan.

She love spending time with her grandchildren. Also, she enjoyed camping with her family and singing karaoke. Mrs. Payne was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Brunswick #1136, as well as a former member of the Frederick Moose Lodge #371.

In addition to her husband and mother, Mrs. Payne is survived by her children, Debra Fronzaglio and husband, Joseph; Travis Kretzer and wife, Marie; Rodney Davis and wife, Debbie; and Darrin Kretzer; a step-daughter, Carolyn Sue Payne; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Wilburn and husband, Bill; three nephews, one niece, and her granddog, Spanky.

She also will be remembered by her special friends, Mary Riggs, Lisa Gallion, and Rusty and Diane Riggs.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 8 at Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick. Services will begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 9 from the funeral home chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. Warren A. Rice of Living Word Ministries, Blue Ridge Summit, Pa.

Interment will be in Union Chapel Cemetery, Libertytown.
