Fred Martin Rodda

Mr. Fred Martin Rodda, 87, of Frederick, died Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Mary Alice Rodda.

Born July 9, 1924 in Kingston, PA., he was the son of the late Thomas and Katherine Duckett Rodda.

Mr. Rodda was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served during World War II. He worked for many years as an assembly line worker in the auto industry.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Mary Ann Lively and son-in-law, David, of Frederick; and his son, Raymond Scott and daughter-in-law, Marie, of Florida; and five grandchildren, Robert Lively, Katelyn Lively, Patricia Scott, Raymond Scott, and William Scott.

He was predeceased by his parents; his sister, Doris Nicholson; and a granddaughter, Katherine Lively.

A memorial service for Mr. Rodda will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at the mausoleum of Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 515 S. Market Street, Frederick. Officiating will be Deacon John L. Manley.

Inurnment will immediately follow services.
