Helen Delores Savastio

Mrs. Helen D. Savastio, 91, of Frederick passed away Wednesday, Oct 21, 2010 at Homewood Nursing Home in Hanover, PA. She was the wife of the late Captain Dino S. Savastio.

Born on March 16, 1919 in New York City, she was the daughter of the late John and Ann Jones ONeill She was a mother of three children, Robert A. Lyons, Jr., of Orlando, FL, John J. Lyons of California, and her daughter, Victoria Lagdon, son-in-law, Richard H. Lagdon Jr. of Middletown, MD; and four grandchildren, Peter Lyons, Susan Lyons Chaney, Richard H. Lagdon, III and Daniel J. Lagdon.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22, at Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick, MD. Father Richard Gray from Saint John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church will officiate. The interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
