Thomas Martin Scheetz

Mr. Thomas Martin Scheetz, 57, of Frederick, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. A lifelong resident of Frederick County, he was born on August 7, 1954 in Frederick, the son of the late Ethel Irene (Fisher) Scheetz.

Mr. Scheetz was the beloved father of William "Peewee" Scheetz and his wife Kinder, Calvin "Joey" Scheetz and his wife Angie and Joshua Scheetz and his wife Amy. He was the loving grandfather of Ryleigh Scheetz, Taylor Fair-Smith, Zoe Scheetz, Cali Scheetz, Austin Scheetz, Tyler Scheetz, Walter Kaleb Scheetz and Abbigail Scheetz. He is also survived by by brother Philip Scheetz and sisters Charlene Bayles and Ethel Bayles. Mr. Scheetz was preceded in death by brother George "Billy" Scheetz, Jr. and brothers-in-law Joseph Bayles and David Bayles.

Friends will be received on Friday, October 21, from 5-8 PM at Keeney and Basford PA Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 22 at 10:00 AM in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the funeral home.
