Anna J Sos

Mrs. Anna J. Sos, 94, of Frederick and formerly of Northampton, Pa., passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at Citizens Care and Rehabilitation Center, Frederick. Born April 9, 1916, in Northampton, she was the daughter of Joseph Grabaritz and Teresa Lang. She was the wife of the late Emil F. Sos Sr., who died Dec. 30, 1980. Anna worked for the Clyde Shirt Factory, Tama Manufacturing Co. and other clothing factories in Pennsylvania. She volunteered for 18 years at St. Nick's Social Club making perogies. Anna loved gardening. She also enjoyed cooking, crocheting, going to yard sales and playing bingo. She is survived by four children, Emil F. Sos Jr. and companion, Carol Pilarczyk, of Ohio, Margaret Sos-Geosits, DEd., of Emmas, Pa., Anthony J. Sos and wife, Sandra, of Frederick, and Marcella A. Sos of Easton, Pa.; grandchildren, Stephanie Geosits of Canada, Angie Fogle and husband, Jim, of Myersville, Amy Boyer of Frederick, Tammy Michaels and husband, Ken, of Ohio, William J. Sos Jr. of Ohio and Tessia Canuhe and husband, Sergio, of Frederick; and great-grandchildren, Tyler Hill of Frederick, Jacob, Jessica and Emma Fogle of Myersville and Mason and Madeline Canuhe of Frederick. Anna was predeceased by one son, William J. Sos Sr.; and brothers, John Graberitz, Joseph Lang and Frank Lang. Anna touched many lives with her friendship and will be deeply missed by all.
