Sharron Perry Spare

Mrs. Sharron Perry Spare, 86, of Frederick and formerly of Catonsville, died Tuesday, July 20, 2010, at Homewood at Crumland Farms. Born July 6, 1924, in Baltimore, she was a daughter of the late Edgar L. and Esther Insley Perry. She was a graduate of Louisiana State University and for more than 30 years worked in the real estate business in Baltimore. Then for several years she was the director of the Catonsville Senior Center before moving to Frederick. Surviving her is one daughter, Brooke D. Afrookteh and her son, Jared H. Afrookteh, and son-in-law, Dr. Ali J. Afrookteh, all of Frederick; and one brother, Edgar L. Perry Jr. of York, Pa. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 25, at Keeney and Basford, P.A., Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick.
