Josephine Elizabeth Stair

Mrs. Josephine E. Stair, 89, of Brunswick, died on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Allen Clark Stair. Born Oct 24, 1921, in Hapers Ferry, she was a daughter of the late Oscar and Maude Ann Penner Scarlett. She worked for many years as a waitress in the dining room of the old YMCA, Brunwsick; and was an avid Kenny Chesney fan and enjoyed attending church in Middletown. She is survived by three children, Vickie Stair, of Brunswick, Terri Williams, of Frederick, and Tony Stair, of Adamstown; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two children John Stair and Ricky Scarlett; and one brother, Raymond Reynolds. Services and interment will be private.
